'Love' Review

It's been a while since Netflix has dropped an original series that has caught my attention, until 'Love' came along on February 19th.

I admit, I wasn't attracted to it straight away. The title at first glimpse was slightly off-putting considering it dropped so close to Valentines day, you think, "another predictable rom-com". But please look past it like I did because once I clicked on it, my weekend had been handed over like that.

Hey guys and girls,

I hope your 2016 has been shaping up well so far! I can't believe we're a month and a bit in already, it definitely seems the older you get the faster the time goes!

Anyway, since studying the documentary module this year, I've watched a hell of a lot for inspiration, as well as just consciously realising I watch a lot more documentary than I had originally assumed. I'm absolutely loving it and decided to give one that I had on my top list of films to watch, since its trailer back in 2015, 'Amy'.

The 2015 Roundup

So 2015 is drawing to a close now, which I'm really gutted about. This year has been a really lovely year, of course I've had some lows but I've been vert fortunate to have some highs. So I''m deciding to do my top things of 2015. I hope you've also had a lovely year, and as ever I apologise for neglecting this blog but, university calls. 2016 hopefully will possibly be easier to blog in now my university experience is coming to an end.

Catfish and the Bottlemen, Cardiff 29.10.15

It's Hallowe'en week in the student central of Cardiff, but for one night, it felt like the entirety of the 16-25 year old population were in the queue for indie-rock band, Catfish and The Bottlemen.
